Savings for Yourself, Blessings for Others

Making the Most of Shopping at Amazon

Just a glimpse into the world of Amazon.

Despite the fact the Amazon is the biggest online shopping retailer, and that millions of people are now using it, a sizeable majority are still not that aware of the many ways by which you can save even more with Amazon. There are so many ways to save, but very few have access to such information, maybe because very few would dare explore the possibilities of the World Wide Web. And so, even with the compulsion to shop online through online shops like Lazada and Zalora, people are not really making the most of their shopping experience. To solve that problem, here are a few tips to make the most out of your Amazon-shopping experience, a.k.a, save more money.

  1. Explore BEYOND your search results.

Often, if your search keywords are specific enough, your search results will lead you to the most expensive, those items which will most likely pad up profits (because hey, Amazon’s somebody’s business, too, right?). So the tip is this: don’t settle with your search results. Go and explore the bottom portion where it says: “Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought…” and “Sponsored Products Related to This Item”.

  1. Take advantage of the Amazon coupons.

Most people don’t even know these coupons exist. The funny thing is that they’re already doing their shopping online, and yet they’re not using coupons at all. For the coupon experts, this is hilarious. You see, Amazon has a not-so-known section of their site that’s dedicated to these coupons. To find it, all you have to do is click on ‘Today’s Deals’, and you’ll see ‘Coupons’ across the top rail. Plus, you don’t even have to be a Prime member to enjoy this!

  1. The Secret of Amazon Trade-In

Amazon has a buy-back program that automatically looks through your old Amazon orders. After that it tells you what specific items are worth, give you a free shipping label and pay you for your used goods once shipped. The items you trade-in do not have to be purchased originally through Amazon. Just enter any item and they’ll make an offer if interested.

Amazon really changed how the way we shop. And to think it was just a book store back then. It’s amazing it now caters from A to Z!
